Kia ora and welcome to Handmade New Zealand, a family established business with a keen focus to providing and sharing the benefits of Lavender.

Handmade New Zealand is currently responsible for the operation, maintenance and development of two lavender plantations. The lavender plantations are located at Waiohau in the Bay of Plenty and more recently in Horohoro, Rotorua, New Zealand.

Based out of Horohoro and graced by the magnificent Horohoro Bluffs, Handmade New Zealand is under construction to incorporate an up market Gift Shop, Lavender Farm, and Lavender Boutique that will feature the Dana. R. Lavender Product Collection; a unique and exclusive array of quality products made from essential oils and plant extracts with an emphasis on New Zealand grown origins.

Handmade New Zealand oozes those characteristics typical of the 'Olde World charm', and strives to always further improve the presentation, manufacture, curing and packaging processes of their products. We invite visitors to share in our vistas and to enjoy the wonderful aura of our Lavender Gardens.

Handmade New Zealand offers a gift pack service for either corporate or individual needs. Group visits are welcome and bookings are essential. The recommended period for viewing the Lavender gardens is from November - mid February. A minimum charge of $5.00 per person may apply.
